- Balancing daily news reporting with longer-term research projects tailored to publication deadlines.
- Developing and maintaining a strong network of contacts across the financial services sector.
- Managing article distribution across social platforms to engage our audience of financial professionals.
- Language Skills: Native Spanish speaker; alongside professional proficiency in English.
- Experience: Proven ability to write news stories and features.
- Sector Interest: Curiosity about the financial sector and a desire to build expertise in wealth management, banking, and investments.
- Strong Communication: Ability to build rapport with sources, ask the right questions, and explain complex subjects clearly.
- Comfortable with Data: Comfortable using Big Data, AI tools, and specialised software to analyse market trends, extract key insights, and elevate your storytelling.
- Proactive Approach: Self-starter mindset with the initiative to chase leads and uncover original stories, whilst sticking to deadlines.
