What you'll do
You will sit within Legora's Public Sector GTM team. A focused team responsible for building and growing our presence across public sector organisations in the UK. You'll work directly with senior GTM leaders on complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities, helping organisations understand how AI can transform the way their legal and professional teams work.
This is not a standard entry-level role. You will be expected to contribute to real commercial outcomes from day one, operating at the intersection of sales, strategy, and operations, while developing the judgement and experience to own opportunities independently.
It's a hands-on, high-ownership role designed for someone who wants to compress their learning curve and develop a deep, practical understanding of public sector GTM, from identifying opportunities and navigating procurement through to building relationships, progressing deals and driving adoption.
Specifically, you will
Drive deal execution across public sector opportunities, preparing materials, coordinating stakeholders, owning proposals and demos, and maintaining momentum through complex sales cycles.
Partner with senior GTM leaders on our most important public sector opportunities, while progressively taking ownership of accounts and opportunities yourself.
Research and qualify target organisations, map key stakeholders, and build engagement strategies tailored to their priorities, challenges and buying processes.
Generate pipeline through targeted outreach and engagement, identifying where Legora can create meaningful value across the public sector and turning that insight into commercial opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across public sector organisations, developing a deep understanding of how they operate and what matters to them.
Navigate tenders, procurement processes, frameworks, information security reviews, due diligence and legal negotiations, building the practical knowledge required to move complex public sector opportunities forward.
Mobilise colleagues across Product, Marketing, Legal and Customer Success to bring the full weight of Legora's capabilities to each opportunity.
Conduct market and account research to identify emerging priorities, whitespace and high-impact use cases for AI across the public sector.
Feed what you learn on the frontline back into our public sector GTM playbook, helping us build repeatable processes, sharpen our approach and scale what works.
What you bring
You're early in your career but serious about building world-class commercial skills. You're curious, analytical and comfortable getting into the detail to make things happen. You care about outcomes, learn quickly and want to understand how high-performing GTM teams build a market, not from the sidelines, but from inside the work.
You are particularly motivated by the opportunity to work with the public sector and understand that winning in this market requires persistence, judgement and an ability to navigate complexity.
We're looking for
2+ years in management consulting, B2B sales, strategy, operations, the public sector, or another demanding commercial environment.
Exposure to public sector organisations, whether through consulting, technology, commercial work or direct public sector experience, and a genuine interest in understanding how these organisations operate.
Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify opportunities, prioritise effectively and move with confidence in ambiguous situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, compelling materials and conversations.
Comfort engaging senior stakeholders on commercial, technical and strategic topics, and the judgement to adapt your approach to different audiences.
A proactive, low-ego mindset. You take ownership, ask the right questions and get things done without needing to be asked twice.
The ability to work fluidly across GTM, Product, Marketing, Legal and Customer Success, bringing people together around a shared commercial outcome.
High learning velocity and the adaptability to thrive in an environment that moves quickly and expects a lot.
Genuine interest in AI and its potential to transform how public sector professionals work. Prior experience with B2B SaaS or legal technology is a plus; curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more.
