The role
- Lead AWS architecture, migration and modernisation work for enterprise cloud transformation programmes
- Provide technical direction across infrastructure, DevOps, security and operations
- Act as a trusted adviser during architecture and solution discussions
What you will do
- Run discovery workshops and assess existing on-premises and cloud environments
- Create modernisation roadmaps and high-level and low-level solution designs
- Design scalable, secure, resilient and cost-efficient AWS architectures
- Plan migrations, analyse dependencies and onboard workloads to AWS
- Set Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Establish platform standards, governance and operational practices
What you will bring
- More than 10 years of overall experience
- AWS architecture, landing zones and multi-account strategy expertise
- Cloud discovery, assessment, migration and modernisation experience
- Strong hands-on Terraform skills and CloudFormation knowledge
- Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker and CI/CD tooling
- Knowledge of AWS networking, security and monitoring
- Ability to work with architects, infrastructure teams and senior executives
- Experience supporting large enterprise transformations across multiple geographies
- AWS professional or security certifications are preferred or advantageous
