Alix built theHRkey to answer one thing that nagged him across years of UK SMB resourcing: why does the traditional recruitment market charge so much for work the right AI can do in fifteen minutes?
The answer wasn't to hire a floor of recruiters and pass on the cost — it was to put AI in front, let it do the reading and the routine work, and keep one senior practitioner on every call that actually needs a human. That's the practice he runs today: an agent layer on the pipeline, and Alix on the account.
