The role
- Define how labour productivity, standards and demand-forecast quality are measured
- Help operational and finance leaders understand and act on site-level opportunities
- Support the introduction of an advanced scheduling platform
What you will do
- Identify and quantify labour-efficiency opportunities by site
- Trial scheduling changes with Operations and Finance and measure their effects
- Develop daily and weekly reporting on productivity, scheduling and shift adherence
- Help convert demand forecasts into working hours by role
- Assess forecast accuracy and recommend improvements with Data Science and Operations
- Show how labour deployment affects customer experience
What you will bring
- Evidence of improving wage percentage or sales per labour hour in a multi-site business
- 5+ years in analytics with hospitality, retail, leisure or quick-service restaurant exposure
- Experience delivering change with finance and operational stakeholders
- Advanced SQL and experience of modelled data warehouses
- Strong Excel financial modelling and knowledge of profit-and-loss mechanics
- Business intelligence development and experience with rota, attendance and payroll data
- Ability to assess forecast accuracy, bias and seasonality
- Workforce management, international labour regulation, time-and-motion, Python or AI-assisted analysis experience is desirable
