The role
- Own the platform across interfaces, services, identity controls and data contracts
- Work directly with founders and early customers
- Turn operational security needs into reliable interfaces and tools
- Take responsibility from the data model through customer integration
What you will do
- Build stable, versioned APIs and software development kits with documentation and examples
- Develop services for enforcement decisions, evidence, policies and security-testing results
- Design authentication, sessions, API keys, authorisation and tenant isolation
- Create data interfaces, event streams and tamper-evident audit records
- Build onboarding, policy integration and operator dashboard workflows
- Own compatibility testing, browser checks and deployment
What you will bring
- Strong backend experience with HTTP APIs
- Python and a Python API framework are preferred
- Experience with observability, tracing, relational databases and migrations
- Sound judgement on API design, versioning, software development kits and compatibility
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, API keys and tenant access control
- Good JavaScript and React skills
- Ability to work independently on technically uncertain customer problems
