The role
- Support the team manager in leading, motivating and developing the conference management team
- Help maintain smooth daily operations and provide holiday cover
- Advise business customers from initial enquiry through to contract
- Support sales activity and marketing campaigns
What you will do
- Coordinate operational work and assist the team where needed
- Monitor occupancy, conversion, revenue and other performance measures
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for management
- Create quotations, support pricing and process contracts
- Maintain and follow up sales leads and opportunities
- Improve internal processes and work closely with marketing, finance, sales and operations
What you will bring
- Business degree, comparable vocational training or several years of relevant experience
- Experience in customer service, sales or conference management
- Commercial focus on revenue, margins and achieving targets
- Analytical understanding of sales strategies, markets and customer needs
- Confidence with CRM and business intelligence tools
- Strong communication, empathy, initiative and cross-functional collaboration
- Very good written and spoken German
